Traditional TEER methods

  • Single, non-continuous timepoint measurements
  • Measurements taken outside of incubated conditions
  • Moveable electrodes leading to inconsistent measurements

Collects TEER Continuously!

Monitors Cells While Incubated!

Image
  • Cells remain inside incubator during data collection
  • Collect data for days or even weeks at a time
  • Fits in small incubators

  • Medical grade stainless steel electrode dipping pins
  • Maintains sterility for transport from incubator to hood
  • Measures up to 96 wells

Cassette uses fixed electrodes!

ABOUT US

Who We Are

Applied BioPhysics, Inc. is a biotechnology company founded in 1991 by Dr. Charles Keese and Dr. Ivar Giaever, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist. The company specializes in developing instruments that use Electric Cell-Substrate Impedance Sensing (ECIS) technology to study cell behavior in real time. ECIS enables researchers to analyze cell adhesion, movement, and responses to drugs or toxins without the need for labels or dyes. Applied BioPhysics serves academic, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries, contributing to advancements in cell biology, cancer research, and drug development.
